Not since I was a kid have I looked forward to cold weather so I can carry my L frame revolver, a 686 plus in a lobo leather holster. Something about a .357 mag that makes you feel we'll protected.

Some of us still carry Revolvers...

I purchased a S&W model 65 used cop gun that I want to put in my carry rotation. I am thinking about a owb pancake...

Going old school plus its easy to shoot it accurately...

My Glock 19 went into retirement about a year ago when I finally found my Ruger Sp 101 357 3", (took 6 months to find one in my area) it's been on my hip ever since. Something about revolvers I just like. Guess I'm old school.

Here's my Model 64 snubbie. It's 2nd in my daily carry rotation next to my Charter Bulldog, but I don't have a pic handy of my Bulldog.

The 64 cost me $319 from J&G Sales last year, and I've cleaned it up, polished it a little, and added the magnas and T-grip. I really like this gun.

Hey, you don't have to be old school to prefer wheelies. I just traded in my M&P 9c for a snubby SP101 .357 yesterday. Loving it.

    K frame fan here...

I am also a big fan of K frame snubby revolvers, and have 5 of them, models 66 and 19. These guns are very accurate and conceal much better than you would think because of their rounded contours and short barrels. In a pancake holster behind the hip they virtually disappear, and give you 6 rounds of .357 magnum, which should be enough to handle most personal defense situations. I have always admired revolvers for their extreme reliability and containment of their empty cartridge cases, unlike semiautos which litter the floor with brass.

A way I learned how to reload good is have a friend fire a couple of rounds while you reload. It will get your heart pumping but in an emergency scenarios you will be use to the sound and learn how to control your shaking.

If Joe Biden and his group have any say, then revolvers will be the only handguns that aren't banned....

Careful-a 6 round high capacity cylinder is an evil killing machine. You don't need 6 shots to kill a deer. That's why I prefer my 5 shot 642...

Most days my primary is a Ruger LCR, backed up by a LCP. Been toying with the idea of getting another LCR, though...and going completely "old school" with two revolvers.
