I have a chance to buy a Smith model 12, the gun is in decent shape and shoots well but needs to be reblued, what is a decent price to pay for it?
Depending on condition, I've seen used 10's, 12's and 15's go for $275-$350 in my neck of the woods.

A model 12 is not blued. The finish is what it is. Examine it closely for excessive wear. See that the firing pin hole isnt ovoid. Read the sticky on buying used revolvers... Thats the absoloute best checklist I've seen to date. Be suspect of all used aluminum framed revolvers.
