With all due respect, if you wanted a G27 what caused you to buy a G36? Was the deal impassible? Don't misunderstand, I'm not making a judgement call. I like ALL GLOCKs. i'm just curious.

That explains it, thanks! G36 is quite popular with big-bore CCW fans. And, if you're like me, the double-stack G30 feels like a brick with a trigger. I like the feel of the G36 (almost) as much as my favorite GLOCK, the G19. IMHO, well done!

I like the feel of my G23 but wanted something slightly smaller. Everything I read in the 36 seems to be good things .

Im sure you'll enjoy the 30, but with that grip extension you could just buy a G21 and it'd feel the same and get the longer sight radius to boot.

My EDC is a Glock-36, I have four other Glocks, but the '36' is a breeze to carry.
    You're going to love yours.

    Glock 36 comments

I got a Glock 36 about a year ago, and have been shooting and carrying it quite a bit. The gun has moderate recoil, is extremely accurate, and fits my hand well. It is thinner than most other Glocks and conceals very easily. I think you made a good choice.

In answer to your holster question, the G36 seems to fit most of my old holsters for a Glock 19.

I honestly don't care for the Pearce extensions. Makes it too long for my hands.

congrats, i just recently got my first glock, glock23 40cal. came with two 13 round mags and found a 22 round mag at a gun show couple months back i'm really glad i got it now. i put a hogue grip on the gun it cost 10 at my local big r. gives way better grip and i think it improved my shooting.
