NY forgot to exempt LEOs from the new law

I just talked to my friend who is a police officer in NY. The new New York gun laws have no exemptions for Law Enforcement Officers. Way to go Governor Cuomo!! You just made criminals out of your police force.

Just wait until they're told they have to turn in their 15 round magazines and their AR's both.

Sad and funny all at the same time.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

Aw come on just get rid off all the guns in NY and the problem will be solved. I'm sure the bad guys will turn theirs in just as soon as the LBC does. When crime rates go up all the uneducated people who voted him in can personally thank him.

Police will no longer need them, just ask the politicians. That's what happens when they hurry to shove legislation down our throats, not that they use their heads anyway.

Yup - so many typos when I was reading through it that I could hardly understand what they were trying to say in some sections. That's what happens when you pass laws without actually reading what it has to say.

I guess all the LEOs in NY who were on duty today will have to go turn themselves in.

Beautiful! Even more surprising is that they didn't craft an exemption for themselves. You know very well that the Feinstein political types won't give up their carry weapons, even though they're pushing to outlaw them. Kinda like that anti-gun senator from IL that works "security" so he's allowed to carry

"We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it" hmm. nice job, NY officials.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt
