I have two P220's, one with the tail and one without. I kinda like the tail. The rail on the other hand, I can live without them. Both of mine have them and they make it harder to find holsters that fit.

Congrats on the 220, a very fine handgun. Accurate, good trigger and very reliable.

I had a great time with my Sig P220 at the range today. I didn't shoot as much as I would have liked but had a good time any way. My carry ammo was very accurate at 10 yards and my target ammo was also very accurate. I just wish I had more ammo to shoot but ammo prices are just too high right now.
I always carry two guns daily.

Looks a lot like my '93 vintage 220 - most accurate out-of-the box pistol I ever bought!

It was made in 2010. I guess there was not a lot of these ones made. It also came with rosewood grips when it was new but when I got it it had the plastic Sig P220 grips. I added the plastic slim P220 grips because my hands are on the smaller side. The slide is stainless steel with a Nitron finish. It is a great shooter.
I always carry two guns daily.
