Of the 2 I'd definetly go with the SIG, 2022's have a real good track record for working when needed and getting your monies worth out of them. I'm not bashing Rugers at all, but the SIG is a better carry wep IMO.
I'd get the Sig if it were me. But it's you, so....

Not even a comparison, go Sig.
Some people will start trouble and then try to make it look like its your fault....

If I were to offer you a Toyota or a Mercedes (even if it is a low end Mercedes) which would you pick?
Go with the Sig.

Sig. I like hammer fired guns and the trigger on a Sig is smooth. I have the 9 mm 2022.
Sig is by far the better choice between the two.
Lots of endorsements for the Sig (and that's a good thing). I'm a victim of brand loyalty, however, with 4 Ruger handguns, and I just love em.
Question, does the Sig have a manual safety? I confess that don't know; however I'm pretty sure that the Ruger does. (Not trying to start an issue, I just happen to like the manual safety.)
Good luck in your decision (and I hope that whatever you opt for is available.)
