So I lied about buying a Glock

I made a thread a couple weeks ago that explained my desire to switch to a Glock for my EDC. It was mainly due to my exhaustion from constantly practicing my DA/SA pull/transistion on my USPc. Well I sold some stuff, made some cash and then went to go pick up a Glock 19 and to my surprise NO ONE had a Glock 19 in stock. So this was the first gun I picked up and I kinda fell in love with it.

I had a M&P Compact .40 S&W about 3 years ago and HATED it. I was a new shooter and was just buying anything that looked cool and anything bigger than 9mm. That was my first mistake... I have never brought a .40 S&W since and will probably never buy one again. The second thing I hated about the gun was the trigger, it was if the reset was non existent. Now this beautiful baby I got here has a sweet reset that's very positive, it's almost as if S&W is putting that APEX trigger in at the factory. I don't know what they did but after dry firing it once, I said "Let's start the paperwork".

Well anyway I know as gun lovers we all love some gun porn so I figured this would be a good chance to post some and get some feedback on anyone else experience with the M&P compact 9mm. I have some plans for it already... night sights, looking for a nice kydex holster (preferably Raven), maybe a crimson trace grip and hopefully I can find me a few M&P full size mags.

My next purchase will be the MP. Most likely another 9mm.

I think S&W was going to start using the Shield trigger in the rest of the M&P line.

Nice...I'm thinking about getting a M&P 9 for the wife to try out. She likes the G19, but I wouldn't mind seeing what she'd do with a different grip angle etc. Plus, I can get them for $399!
