...about given up on finding a S&W M64 2", I'm thinking of getting a M10 and putting a finish on it...
...I'm wet with sweat all summer and my holsters (IWB) stay soaked...can anyone recommend a finish that will STOP the rust on a blued revolver???

S&W M64s still turn up on the used gun market, so kep your searches alive.
As for coatings, they're pricey but I've never heard any complaints about Robar's "Rogard" or NP3 finishes. Check them out here: Firearm Finishes

It is expensive but look at Robar NP3 plus.
