Done! I got a Glock 26 and purchased 6 additional 10-round mags and 4 Glock 19 mags. I'm now looking for a couple of high capacity magazines. They are selling for $200 a piece down here in Costa Rica!We are also on the verge of tough gun control measures...so people are also stocking up on AR-15's, rifles, shotguns, pistols and ammo.

The entertaining part: customers think I'm lying when I tell them that there is a Glock drought coming.
8/8 distributors that I have access to are showing 0 17s or 19s available, in 3rd or 4th gen. The company I work for has 12 stores. We have 2 G17s and 5 G19s left-- all Gen 3. It has been so bad that my bosses aren't letting the staff buy off our shelves. I had to go buy my 23 from a competitor.

interesting I just got a Caracal C here in the Philippines. We also had a deranged man go on a shooting rampage killing children, and the liberals screamed for a total gun ban, but our president is a gun advocate and refused to uphold such a ban. Still people are also watching the sandy hook shooting and seeing liberals screaming for a gun ban theyre stocking up because they might tighten up on imports and well only have our local armscors to useDone! Good thing I already bought my Glocks earlier. There are maybe one or two more I wouldn't mind having but I can wait until the market stabilizes.

With all that's happening with ammo and such, I could see a back order on Glock in the future. Ruger is way behind on the LC9s already.

I'm stocked with 10 new in the box G17 mags as well as a few lightly used ones, 13 G19 mags, and I think 3 or 4 g23 mags.
My AR mag count is 6-30 round mags and 2-20 round mags, even though I don't own a AR.
I figure when the craze dies down, I can always pick up any of these guns, but the Hi cap mags will be what's hard to come buy. If a hi cap ban comes about, guns like the G17 will be cheap, since it makes no sense to carry a full size gun in 9mm with only 10 rounds.
I think the Glocks like the G23 will be bigger sellers in a hi cap ban since it only loses 3 rounds.
Then the G26, G30, G29, and G36 will see alot of pick up in purchases.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.
