While my carry gun is a polymer, the first gun I bought was a Sig P228. I just shot this yesterday. When I hold it, it FEELS like a real gun. I may have to switch up my carry....

I have carried both, from 1911's to XD's to skinny single stack poly and now my Sig P229. Sure poly is light and easy to conceal readily but for balance and hand feel, I am happier with a good solid steel gun.
