    Love the GP100!!

I was going to buy a taurus because I wanted the gun now but decided to save the extra money and bought my 4" GP100. Couldnt be happier, good choice.

Edit: After about 800 rounds I finally built up the nerve to take the trigger assembly apart and clean/deburr any areas I found (which weren't many). At the same time I put in a wolff spring kit 10lb trigger 12lb hammer and the trigger is even sweeter!

Good choice. I admit I'm intrigued by the Judge but between that and a GP100, the GP100 gets my nod.

Are you going to shoot it, or beat the BG's down with it?

There is a real nice new GP100 that I saw but I forgot the model. It had nice carry sights and the grips looked awesome.

Sounds like the Wiley Clapp model, that's a run of 2000 that Ruger did with TALO, nice Hawkeye matte finish, melted and Novak low profile sights and Novak fiber optic front sight.

Ruger's also been advertising a blued version of the Wiley Clapp, but haven't seen anything of it in the stores yet--they've been talking about it for about a year now.
