I was going to buy a taurus because I wanted the gun now but decided to save the extra money and bought my 4" GP100. Couldnt be happier, good choice.
Edit: After about 800 rounds I finally built up the nerve to take the trigger assembly apart and clean/deburr any areas I found (which weren't many). At the same time I put in a wolff spring kit 10lb trigger 12lb hammer and the trigger is even sweeter!
