I have had the Colt for quite a while and have tried others as my primary but I always go back to my 1911 in 38 Super. My bug is now the P3AT because of the ease of carry ,but I use to use an Air weight S&W J-Frame .Who knows I may go back to that some day.

If you use a flash attachment when photographing a gun, especially a stainless gun from a side angle, the flash will reflect back from the gun causing a glare in your photo, as shown in your 1911 photos above.
You can avoid this by turning off the flash, using indirect ambient lighting (reflected off a white surface to diffuse it), slowing down your shutter speed and using a tripod to hold the camera steady (slow shutter speed will magnify any camera movement).
Here is a shot I did of my nickel Gold Cup using this approach:

Great choices for carrying, Delta Force. You and I are right on the same page. My primary is a 1911 w/ antler grips and BUG is a P3AT. The smooth antler grips have really made a difference in comfort while carrying IWB. And their looks don't hurt, either.
Cheers,
Rod

And the good thing about the stag grips are that my clothing won't stick or hang up on them.Ya plus they are so PURTY![]()
