Sig Sauer ACP Adpative Carbine Platform....Cool Factor is a 10

Well, I splurged and bought a Sig Sauer ACP for usage on my railed pistols. Got it home, intending to put my S&W M&P 45 Compact. Instead, had to try in my Taurus 92 PT. The m&P doesn't have an extended tang to accept the rear retention bracket, so now I have to go out and buy a new M&P full size 45 ACP. Oh well.
The coolness factor here is a 10. Able to bolt on a Troy Battle sight, my unused EoTech holographic site, the laser that came with the platform. Took it to the range, and everybody stopped, looked, and wondered what I was shooting. The drooling was rampant. It takes some tweaking of the sights (not there yet, but close), but this is just plain fun. I'll post pictures later tonight. Too cool.

Ok that is just cool. Now I just need a pistol with rail to go with it.

Well I thought it was really cool until I seen in orderto get the one with folding stock it had to be registered.

I stumbled upon the SIG ACP last night while drooling over the MP-X. The ACP is totally awesome. I can only imagine turning my SIG pistol into a SBR... Too bad I live in a non-SBR State.

Did it add highly to accuracy and control? Looks like it would.

    and a vertical grip underneath.
If you put a vertical grip on it, it's and AOW and NEEDS TO BE REGISTERED as well!!!!

Without a stock, it's a heavy oversize pistol that does nothing well.

You need to remove the grip or delete this thread quickly.
