    +1 on the XDs. I love mine, and although its only 5+1, it's worth checking out. It's my EDC.

    Yea, paid $1049. Not a bad price considering the environment we are in. Took months to find it though.

    So I had a lot of unexpected free time today so I went to my local gun store to fondle their guns. I can happily say that I am the proud owner of a new glock 36. One last question is what holsters do y'all recommend?

    Something light and concealable and holds a decent amount of ammo. Look at the S&W m&p45 compact. I have the 9mm version and carry in a galco king-tuk under a t-shirt with no problems for concealment. Congrats on getting your carry permit. Stay safe and carry on.
