Added an M&P9c over the weekend

Have had my M&P9 for a while. Added a M&P9c over the weekend.
Staying well concealed at work is a MUST for me. I found myself either leaving the full size in my car or at home.
So I decided to pick up a 9c over the weekend. MUCH better.
I thought about a Shield but like the idea of sharing holsters and mags.

When I first brought it home...

After I attacked it with a soldering iron and dremel...

The trigger is NASTY though. Wow. I bought my full size with trigger work done to it.

You did that stippling on the polymer frame? With a dremmel?

You're a braver man than I. I have two, soon to be three, 9c's. After 1,000 rounds or so I love the trigger. Good pick up though, can't go wrong with any M&P line firearm's.

I did the stippling with a soldering iron and undercut the trigger guard & cut grooves in the mag well with the dremel.
I love the grip afterward. I was nervous when I first did it to the full size but after that was confident when I got the 9c.

I love my M&P 9c! I had the trigger dropped a bit as the factory version is a little stiff. Great EDC firearm

LOL, why is that? I did the full size a while back, took me about two hours.
The 9c took me about an hour and 15. Did it while the wife watched some Lifetime movie. :D

M&P compacts are awesome guns! One rides on my hip often.

Any particular reason why you stipple that part of the frame?

What area? Near the take down lever?
That's where my left thumb should rest when I have a proper grip. It gives me positive feed back telling me if my grip is correct or not with out me having to look.

I - am - jealous. I ordered & paid for a M&P 40C on 10 Dec & am still waiting for it to get to the gun store. They told me it could be as long as 3 months. I got such a great LEO/Security/Military price on it that I couldn't let it go. Mine comes with 3 mags & Trijicon night sights in that deal. I'm armed so I guess I can be patient a little longer.

Gotch ya. I was just curious, that's all. Makes sense. Thanks for explaining.
