So it begins..
When i bought my kimber i justified the Price buy telling myself it was going to be the only 1911 i would own. Funny huh. Will i pick up my second one today and just wanted some one to say it was OK. That there are worse addictions out there. What i am afraid of is something i read here and i wish i could quote the person that said it but I'm but I'm not sure who is was. Any ways they said never put two 1911's in a safe because they will multiply.
It's ok .. and they do breed like rabbits in the safe
My wife says guns and fishing poles both multiply like rabbits I dont understand.
Kind of like that potato chip commercial, nobody can hve just one! Ha! Welcome to the club.
It's a disease. It is incurable. enjoy it immensely.:yup: :image035:
OK. It's OK. My Glocks breed too. They're up to three. Beretta's do that also. No experience with 1911's or Kimbers, but I've heard they like cats.
nice guns....they will grow in numbers.......
There is no "one" 1911
You can't have just one 1911, just like you can't have just one screwdriver. Just consider all the variety:
1. Barrel lengths 3,4 and 5 inches.
2. Stainless, blued and blackened.
3. Steel, aluminum and polymer frame.
4. Colt, Springfield, Kimber, S&W, Sig, STI, Wilson.
5. .45 ACP, 9mm, 10mm, .38 Super.
And the list goes on...

I need a nother Springer (TRP most likely) and another Colt...
1911s, AR-15s, Colt Revolvers . . . they just keep multiplying, which of course leads to the ancillary consequence of gun leather and other gear reproducing as well. Sort of a symbiotic relationship, it seems.
It also appears to be an exponential progression. One is likely to turn into two, two to four, and so on and so on.
A remedy? Not bloody likely! One can only revel in the malady . . .
The good news is that unlike most addictions and disorders our malady truly is victimless! Well, not counting finances.......
Besides it helps so many other businesses and craftsmen!
