Springfield Xds .45 trigger bite issue, is the glock trigger any better?

Question for you folks that have experience with the Xds and glocks. I recently purchased the Xds and have taken it to the range a couple of times now. I have put about 300 rounds through it and the safety trigger just keeps pinching my finger on every shot to the point I got a blister on the first trip. Has this happened to anyone else? Will the Glock safety trigger do the same? Its just a bit annoying. That and I can't get HP rounds to go through without jamming but thats another issue. Thanks for any feeedback!

I have both and usually spend up to 4 hours per range visit and no blisters ever. Is your XD new? they only get better with break in!

yes, it is new. I have tried adjusting the way I pull the trigger but no change, pinches everytime. Not sure if this is something that will change with use or not. Not much experience with these types of triggers. If it doesnt work out I may consider trading for Glock but not sure if I would have the same issue.

Is the trigger on the XDs the same as on the other XD's? I have 4 XD-40 SC and no issues.

Thats what I was wondering also. Im not sure if its maybe narrower than the other xd's? Im really not sure what is causing the pinch if its just my finger or just a trigger that was not finished correctly. Thanks for the comments so far.

I bought a Gen 4 21 in Dec. My blue label dealer LEO had 100 21's in stock. I had him bring out 10 21's, and picked my 21 out after dry firing all 10. I then picked out the best trigger. Mine is very good but some i tryed where gritty. Just an option if you can try a few triggers out.

I've only got 2 and never had an issue -- trigger or HP ammo

Send it back to Springfield... They'll make it right. Or you could just sell it to me for really cheap :)

Springfield Xds .45 trigger bite issue, is the glock trigger any better?

I have never had "bite" issues with mine. Mine also eats everything I feed it.
