Read and follow the instructions for reassembly in the manual. It's not as hard as it seems once you get the thing figured out.

You can get the manual off ruger - type in RUGER MK I manual in google and you'll get a link.
Follow the directions to the letter.
If the bolt will not pull back after you reassemble, you have the hammer strut caught in the cross bar.
You can do it. It's not difficult if you follow the directions.
WE BELIEVE IN YOU! Go for it!
They're not meant to be taken apart, and once taken apart, they are not meant to be put back together. You now have a 30 oz paperweight, and since you have no further use for it, just put ALL the pieces in a box and send them to me. I am willing to make this sacrifice so that you do not lose your mind trying to put it back together!

It's a little tricky, but if you pay attention to pulling the trigger and noting the position of the hammer strut, you'll get it. Good luck!

I had the same issue with mine. I just stepped away and reread the manual and it just fell into place. Take your time and do exactly what the manual says.
