Thoughts on the Sig P250 or 2022
I started a poll awhile back for a Commemorative Sig for our Unit while we are deployed. I know the P226 or P229 is the obvious choice(which I am pushing for). But to make it easier for the guys who dont have alot of money to throw around the P250 or 2022 is the easier sell. Because they all have to be the same model and caliber. I like the idea of the P250's modular exchange kits. And I have read positive feedback for both. So thoughts?
Thanks Guys

Re: Thoughts on the Sig P250 or 2022
I chose the 2022 last year over the p250 due to me being new to handguns and wanting it's trigger. Now that I have a pf9 with a dao trigger and have shot the p250 also I may have to get me a compact p250. Both are great guns but I still shoot better with the da/sa trigger.

I can't speak to those models with much authority but I'd go with the 2022 due to the trigger. That's just completely due to my personal preferences, though. Hopefully someone with more experience with these two guns can chime in.

I have a 3rd ACR Sig 250 I like it a lot, it seems a little top or end barrel heavy right up till you shoot it then it all makes sense. Mine is in the 40 cal family and is a 13 + 1 magazine so no issues there. It is the all black one in my picture. Good Luck

I have more than one of the p250s and they are really nice guns.
Have never shot the 2022, but hear good things about that one too.
I went with the 250 due to the modularity and have been more than happy with it.

I carry a compact 9mm 250. I find it easy to shoot and accurate. Once you get used to the long DAO trigger. You can't go wrong with it...

Thanks for the replies so far. I have no issues with DA/SA or DAO. We will see what the boss says. I hope we can get 229s but if its the 250 or 2022 they seem to both have good and bad. But heck it's another pistol for me either way lol

Never shot the P250 but the 2022 is a sweet shooting pistol.

I have more than one 250 and one 2022 in 9mm. They are both great platforms, and I do carry a 250 subcompact. For me, the 2022 is easier to shoot accurately because it has a great trigger and it's bigger and heavier, but, with practice you can shoot the 250 just as accurately.
I really like guns I can shoot well and carry; for me that's the 250 SC. I don't carry the 2022, but it is a great range gun.

They both seem like reliable options. Im pushing for the P229 or the 1911, but have to consider the guys who dont have the extra cash.

I don't like DAO, and I wouldn't make use of the modularity of the 250. I think it's unlikely to be taken advantage of beyond the first month after purchase, by most consumers. It's a great gimmick, that a few people will actually draw value from.
In a shoot to live situation, I would take the DA/SA trigger of the SP2022 over the DAO, all day. No contest.

I like our DAO 290, so the 250 would be ok. But if I have my pick it will be the 229 or 1911.

I think the 2022 is often too overlooked. I had the chance to handle and shoot one, I think its a great little gun.

I would take the 2022 any day. What a nice trigger. :)
