What to buy? Need CC and .40 defense

I won't be collecting tons of guns, but I do like I have a variety for different roles.

I have a Glock 19 for CC but would like something lighter for Summer carry, no smaller than 9mm. I'm currently leaning towards Kel Tec PF9.

I have a Glock 21SF (duty weapon) which I love to shoot on the range. I'm wanting another range/defense gun and would like to own a .40. Currently leaning towards Sig P2022.

    Thoughts?
On duty: Glock 21 SF (.45) w/ Safariland Cobra Tactical holster & Remington Hallow-points
CCW: Glock 19 Gen 3 (9mm) w/ Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster
    Magtech Hollow-points

    Ruger SR40 / 40C, S&W MP40 / 40C. Glock 22 / 23, Beretta PX4 storm 40 / 40c, Kimber Ulta Carry .40 cal, CZ P-07 Duty . 40 cal, lots and lots of choices but these would be my top picks. YMMV

Why not go with a G26? Between mag and holster compatibility, I'd say it would be worthy of consideration.

Which I guess would also bring up a G23 if you wanted a .40, basically because you'd once again have holster compatibility with anything for your G19.

All of which may be way off base if you just want to try something besides Glock out...

Lighter than a polymer frame Glock, or easier to carry IWB than a 2x4?
I agree with sticking with a G23 or G26. That's the beauty of the Glock system. Once you figure out the goofy grip angle and work your hand into right angle callouses (), you have nearly limitless options for caliber and frame size.

If you want a different platform, I like Kahr or Walther PPS far more than KelTec.

I have shot the Keltec PF9 and thought it was a bit snappy. I chose to get a Kahr CW9 which is virtually the same size but feels much nicer at the range with better trigger than the Keltec. That said, I do have a Keltec P11 as my truck gun but that is another subject. Look at the Kahr CW line in 9-.45

I find the G26/27 very attractive. Call me stupid but I didn't know they would fit the same holsters as a 19/23. I use a crossbreed IWB. I'll have to try one out sometime. I'm attracted to the PF9 for cost reasons.

I have both a PF9 and a G27, the PF9 is ok but is rather crudely built and Kel Tec has a very spotty quality reputation. I was lucky to get a good one, you will find many saying the opposite though. The G27 is just like any other Glock, they're really all the same except different size and caliber. If you want .40 and are familiar with Glocks already and have holsters then I'd say go with that.

Honestly I'd stay away from the Sig Pro, they just aren't on the level of the 200 series Sigs and the price reflects that. If a 226 is a Tahoe Z71, the SP2202 is like an Aveo...

    Glock 27 if you want a 40

If you stick with the 9mm minimum, Glock 26

Really like my G23 for carry, 13rds with standard mag. I looked at the G27 but it didn't fit in my hand as well with the standard mag and I figured if I'm going to have the extended mag to fit my hand better I as well get the benefit of the longer barrel length of the 23. I can conceal it well and I'm not that big of a guy, @ 5'8" 170#, I find it to shoot well too, with nice groups.

This has come up a few times, and is an excellent choice.

I also have and love my:
    G26
    G22, and
    G36
all of which share an IWB holster very nicely.

Outside of Glock, some capable options are:
    SW .40 M&P (or the .45)
SW 9mm Shield (just picked mine up today - handles nicely - can't wait to get it to the range).

Just a few options for you. Enjoy.
