glad to hear you made a choice. Have fun with your new pistol.


One of the things that steered me in the Glock direction is the absolute ubiquity of the parts. Between models, there is a great number of parts that can be interchanged, and they are also widely and cheaply available.

They are also very consistently manufactured, with no real need for "fitting" should you need to replace something.

Mags from the longer guns will work in the shorter pistols (get yourself a spare G22 mag or three).

And, they are damn easy to work on, like an old Jeep.

I found these points to be important considerations in the face of an uncertain future political climate and firearms market. Plus it's cheap and practical.
