    Picked up a DB9

It is Diamondbacks new little pocket gun. Talk about a small package. I was plenty surprised when I fired this little. baby. her are the first five shots from five meters.
I'm happy. In 25 rounds for function check it is perfect.

You will want to put a lot more than 25 rounds downrange before you trust a DB9 or almost any other semi auto for carry.

I have fired a DB9 and it was heavy on recoil but great on concealability and ease to carry. However, the owner after having many trouble free rounds (sorry I don't know his round count) had his DB9 absolutlely fall apart on him.

The DB380 and DB9 have both experienced a lot of growing pains so make sure to put yours through its paces before you carry it.

Congratulations on your DB9...if you haven't chosen a holster for it yet, would you be interested in a Remora?

I have a brand new/unused #3-FS made for the DB9 that's yours for the taking if you'd like it. I ordered a Remora for my P938, but they sent me one made for the DB9 by mistake. They quickly corrected the issue and sent out the correct model for my P938 and did not want the one for the DB9 returned to them. I just wanted to "pay it forward" free of charge.

Picture of gun needed, it's how things operate here. We all love gun porn!

I really do like the looks of the DB9 but I haven't heard much good about them.

I've had a good experience with my DB9. My son gave it to me and between the two of us we've shoot over 500 rounds with no issues. I like this pistol but because of arthritis, I have trouble racking the slide.

I do agree with rammer that you need to shoot more than 25 rounds before you can say she is reliable.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

The Diamondbacks are very Glock looking. Congrats on your new gun and hope it runs like a Glock for you!

The DB is now marketed by Taurus. Will Taurus force an improvement on the DB line?, only time will tell. I did not have a good experience with the DB380 I bought when they first hit the market, had problems with the gun and DB's customer service. But that can be expected from a new upstart company........

Yes, i'll break in slowly. I plan to put another 50 rounds through it this week. No Remora for this one, It will be an ankle gun.

Unless something has changed, do not put +p or NATO ammo in it. Check Youtube for video. I seen a couple of split barrels there.

I spoke to the company rep this morning. Since I will be teaching fierarms carry in border towns he sent me two spare mags. He answered the phone Diamondback Firearms, not Taurus, so I guess they will remain an independent entity.
He said mine is a new one that they have tweaked because of early issues. I fired 50 more rounda of Federal ball ammo and they were perfect.
