What do you folks think? Possible? It works well with my LCP but not so sure about the larger 938.

I have one with the Sig holster. It is a single action only so you need a holster to cover the trigger. No rear strap safety like a 1911 but the trigger is a bit longer pull. I like it IWB because it is so small. It shoots really nice!!!! I think it may be a bit large for rear pocket.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

I will never back pocket carry. Hard on my butt check, clothing, wears a print mark and slower and harder to get to if the pocket truely covers the pistol. If it does not cover it someone can see the top of the pistol. Front pocket maybe, iwb for sure. I don't think I even own a pair of pants , carpenter pants included that have a rear pocket deep enought to hide my cm9 in a holster and its 1/2" shorter than your sig. Your lcp is thinner and shorter still. And you must have a holster.
Get a old faithfull holster kit and figure out how to iwb.
Doesn't really work for me in a rear pocket.
Front pocket works very well.

Sure hope you're talking about carrying in a pocket holster!
Personally, I think carrying a SA semi-auto in Condition 1 is a bad idea, given the better options available these days. Carrying it in a back pocket is worse. Carrying it in a back pocket without a holster is suicidal.

Not talking about carrying it with no holster. But thanks for everyone's concern :)

Back pocket is pretty uncomfortable for me too and my gun is smaller than a 938. You might get used to it after a while. I can't do it long enough to get used to it.

Walther P22 - LMT STD 16
Mossberg 500 - Kahr P380
Henry H001Y - Winchester 12
Smith & Wesson M&P Shield
Why ask. Your pistol , your rear end.

Just a side note -
I have had a few back problems over the years. Had a doctor, a masseuse, and a yoga instructor all tell me that carrying my wallet in my back pocket was a contributing factor. I still do it, but I wouldn't add a pistol to the mix, except for occasionally carrying a P3AT in my other hip pocket.

IMHO, the 938 is just over the size limit that I would set for back-pocket carry, especially once you add the holster to the equation. Depends on your physical characteristics and the size of your back pockets, but in my case, I wouldn't consider it .
I really like my 938 better every day, but for me, it's best as an IWB carry. I often forget I'm even carrying it.
There isn't much of a size difference between my LCPs and my PM9 - until you put them in a pocket holster. Then the size difference becomes much more notable, especially the width.
Then there is weight. I would think the Sig 938 would be "a bridge too far" for back pocket carry.
As a side note, while I am a big fan of (dual) front pocket carry, I would never dream of carrying a gun in my back pocket, for a whole host of reasons (could be seen, pick-pocketed, uncomfortable to sit on, could pop the mag loose by sitting on the mag catch, etc etc).

I have been back pocket carrying the last week or so. Has been working out pretty gun. I haven't found it all that uncomfortable sitting. With this holster it's not going to print or make a wear patter on my pocket. With this gun the magazine cannot inadvertently be activated. I can detach the flap for front pocket carry, but I think that would print more. Haven't tried it yet. This is a very small gun though.

I'd have to agree with the others. My wife has the p938 and I think it really is too big for pocket carry, unless you have really big pockets.
