    It's a Bummer. I Want an SW1911SC E

For me, rekindling an interest in firearms that started when I was 9 years old is a lot like getting into the stock market at the wrong time. Bought a few handguns and a 10/22 takedown last summer and even scored a Ruger SR9C at a reasonable price last month. But for the life of me I can't find this SW1911SC-E anywhere Product: Model SW1911Sc<br>E-Series?, Round Butt, Scandium Frame. Went to a gun shop today on my quest and the owner said "there is a rumor that S&W still makes guns but I haven't seen a new one in so long.......". Very depressing.

Does anyone, especially you Floridians know where I might find one?

BTW, a friend of mine watched people line up to pay $120 for 525 round bricks of 22lr that sold at walmart for $19 a year ago at a flea market near here. :-(

    Fixed!

Just take a peek at GunBroker Auctions No. 33401345 and 33280018, make an appropriate bid, and visit your favorite friendly FFL holder to find out how he'll assist you in receiving your pistol.

Actually, for some reason the auction numbers noted need a leading '3' added to them.

My local shop has one. I have been eyeing it for some time. I think they have it for $1009.
As Benjamin Franklin left the hall in Philadelphia, he was asked, “What kind of government have you given us, Dr. Franklin?” He replied: “A republic, if you can keep it.”

I've been seeing more and more S&W 's at the LGS's lately. I just picked up a SW1911 3" Lew Horton last week. A small shop had 2 in the case. I bought one one the spot and before I left, someone purchased the other on gunbroker. They just got them in that day.

As of last week, LGS in VA had one, don't recall if it was railed or not though.

    You're not alone, contented.

I handled one back when they first came out, and really liked it. I just struggled with paying that much for a first release, especially when there was a Colt CCO sitting there right next to it for less.

    I still want one, though.

Thanks so much. I had heard of gunbroker but never looked at it. A question though, what does NIB when I see it on a listing?

I've been waiting over 3 months for a bought & paid for Smith's M&P 40C to get delivered to my gun shop. I feel fortunate that I didn't have to sell my present carry piece & I got such a good deal on it that I guess I can have patience - but it's starting to wear thin.

Florida Gun Exchange ( Ormond Beach Store (386) 304-9499 ) had one as of a few days ago. I was looking at it but it was just a bit more than I wanted to spend...

If it had been a question on a test, you'd have passed, Aquaman.

Heater, thanks so much for the lead. This followed me home today. A very nice gun. Can't wait to get to the range
