an extra BUG...
I already have a P-11 and really don't use it much (but I'll keep it...), and another P-11/PF-9 (similar weapons) seems like a poor investment. Also, would want to wait until 'bugs' in this new PF-9 are worked out...I believe there were some difficulties and production has been delayed.
My 'latest' extra $$$ is going into a Bushmaster .223...

I'm actually looking into this gun as a primary. Had one on order for a few months, actually, and have been paying close attention to the issues documented on KTOG by TwoPistolPacker and Wilson (go there for lots of information on the issues). From what I hear, Wilson's pistol (the first to be sent back in) is being returned to him as we speak after receiving a new hardened slide and undergoing further testing. So the "1.1 Generation" PF-9 may be due for a release here shortly. I'm already amassing the 9mm rounds to put through the gun for endurance testing.
I have had my new PF-9 for about 4 or 5 weeks now... 300-400 rounds down the pipe and not a single issue at all...
VERRRRY sweet trigger pull, great feel and very accurate...
I am VERY pleased and will certainly get a HC model when they come out...
Can not beat the price!

Check the K-T forums before you buy a PF-9. I've considered one myself, but the reviews at the two main Kel-Tec forums are reporting a lot of problems. It seems for every glowing report, there are two others with issues to discuss. You may want to wait (that's what some of the senior members of the forums are suggesting) and look at a few more reviews and/or wait for K-T to work out the kinks.
The PF-9 is new - they've only been out since October - and there seems to be the usual growing pains with some of the first run of guns. K-T seems to be aware of the situation and is working to correct it.

I was excited enough to put a 1/2 deposit on one at KTP back in August. I waited for a while and a couple of weeks ago got tired of waiting and spent the money on another gun instead.
We're still waing for these little guns to come in........![]()
