    Considering a FNS .40 thoughts?

So... I think I need another gun, lol. I'm a big Glock guy and have experience with about every other manufacture makes, but haven't shot or heard from any friends about FN's new pistol line. I fondled the FN's at a local shop (both the hammer & striker versions.) They feel Great in the hand. I know FN has really pushed into the scene of competitive shooting & 3 gun competitions. I'm sure the guns are well made, and likely accurate. So why am I making this post??

I'd like to know- from any of you who own this gun- how is it? Have you had problems, likes, dislikes? If you have both- how do you find it compares to a Glock 23.

Buying a FN would mean needing more magazines, holster, yadda, yadda, yadda. but that's how it goes. Thanks in advance for your input! Any pics would be welcome.

I do not have one but a very good friend who I shoot with does. It is a nice gun, shoots well but not nearly as good as my 1911. The .40 seems to have more barrel lift than either the 1911 .45 or the Glock .40.
IMHO, the money would be better spent on another 1911 in .45 or maybe 9mm or 10mm., just to be different cause those I have not tried yet and I don't see them in your list either.

BTW, I hope to retire near Knoxville someday, love that part of the world.

I have a 9mm. I like it a lot, but the trigger is kinda weird. It shoots well, and really feels great in the hand. Mine has been 100%, but I only have about 150 rounds through it ammo being what it is today.
