X2. Wound up doing the same thing with mine. People were literally begging to buy it. Mine functioned perfectly, I just did not shoot it as well as I would have liked.

If you were asking me, I replaced mine with a Gen 4 Glock 30.

I like mine as far as comfort concealing but I too am like you I just don't shoot it very well. I don't think it's the gun but I'm not sure I shoot other pistols fine it's something with this one I just can't figure out

Well, It sounds like that you got enough that you can go get something more fitting. Good Job.

I'm not sure what exactly it was with me & the Shield but I can tell you this. My wife picked up a Ruger LC9 and I can shoot it much more accurately than the Shield. I also found my brother in law's Beretta Nano to be much more accurate as well. I feel like with enough ammo, money, and range time, I could have worked it out. However, I just decided to carry what I shoot best and save the ammo.

It's funny because I shoot my Shield 9mm better than any single stack I used to own or have shot. The trigger is as good as a full size M&P pistol. It's accuracy and shootability are the two things I live best about it.

What I don't like? The annoying thumb safety that I never use but bugs the heck out of me every time I see it. I've been having reliability issues with my new Shield - it just recently had the strangest and most cuss inducing jam of any pistol I ever shot. Mine hates certain types and brands if ammo too and will puke em bad. Oh and the take down procedure is silly (use a screwdriver and push the little bent yellow tab down........ What????)

So it's been taken off carry duty until I can figure it out and break it in more. Until then it's a safe queen.
