Revolvers Becoming Popular Again... I think
It has been amazing looking at threads on this site and others. I see more and more info and excited people about carrying revolvers. Many of these people have carried semi autos and have switched because of ease of carry and reliability. I must say this has been my story. Carried mostly semi's for a while, and the last couple of years got a LCR in 38 and a Model 36 chief special. Carry them both depending on my mood. Seems like I am carrying my snubs most of the time now. What do you guys think....???? and what do you carry?

I almost always carry a revolver and it is either a S&W 65 or a Taurus 605.

Not so much a come back but more people recognizing the simplicity, ease of use and versatility of revolvers. Except for such autos as the 1911, BHP, Luger and Mauser Broomhandle that have their own beauty and following the revolver has a beauty that is not matched by most modern semi-autos.

I love the Ruger LCR series. It is just about everything a snubbie should be.

It's amazing! Why I could be on the "cutting edge."
I've been totin' revolvers when revolver-totin' wasn't cool.
Been dipping a toe back in totin' a 1911 for a little over a year now. Leave it to me to never be able to get this fashion trend thing right.

I am not sure revolvers ever became un-popular............

They were never unpopular. The S&W 642 remains as its biggest seller year after year. Just that people are finally coming out of the closet now and admitting to owning one. With so many semi auto models having problems, the high cost of extra magazines and high price of the guns themselves, the revolver is more attractive than ever. I have been shooting revolvers for 40 years. Only bought my first Glocks last year and sold them all when two of them started jamming so bad that the gun store owner refunded my money after testing them himself. See Revolver or Semi Auto

You are vintage Bryan! It is the latest thing, live long enough and you will be back in style! (All this said with the utmost respect)
To the OP, what do you mean popular again??? When were revolvers not popular???

I carried my fathers 1966 S&W model 60 for about twenty years but switched to the auto loaders because of their increased capacity. I do on occasion CC an LCR when dress dictates.

Wheelguns are popular, and we can debate whether the adverb should be "again" or "still".

Ah, the immortal "Superduper Snubbie Thread."
It's Sixto's fault that the thread even exists.
