Glock Striker Problems
The local sheriffs department has experienced a large number of striker erosion problems with their service weapons. This problem has been reported by private Glock owners but was blamed on the ammo being used according to Glock. This problem continued until Sheriff Bradshaw made Glock aware of his problem. Note: Several local departments switched from Glock to the S&W M&P 40 in recent years but gave no reason for the change.

I must admit I'm sort of an anti Glock guy just because I think many Glock owner's and horn tooters that simple jump on the band wagon and toot away.
That being said, I would love to know at what point these issues appear. 4-8k rounds or 60-70k rounds? I'm not LE so I have no clue how much they shoot.

Things gun forums have taught me:
-Some people shoot guns others "run" them.
-I don't dislike Glocks but often dislike Glock owners.
-Open carry is to a handgun as bluetooth is to a cell phone!
-Simple math can deliver posts per day... some gun forum members need to get out more!!!

Freedom doesn't come free. It is bought and paid for by the lives and blood of our men and women in uniform.

"He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the Steppes. He had learned a good deal . . . and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life. The cause of this apparently was that at the bottom of his heart he knew all the time (or thought he knew) that he was in reality not a man, but a wolf of the Steppes."
