    Since I never use the slide release to do anything other than lock open an empty pistol, the absence of an external one on the Nano isn't an issue for me.
    The minimum is not what I want to defend my life with.

    To me it's a slide lock only. Never used them, I have a Nano and my walther ppk,s never had any issues at all. I love the fact there are no safeties or levers. I like a clean pistol void of all levers, they really aren't necessary. Never used them on any of my Glocks either.
