Beretta 8040 F Cougar....... anyone have one? thoughts on it?

A friend of mine inherited a Beretta 8040 F Cougar, and I gave her the basics on it, but couldnt tell her about the reliability of it. I know it is currently made by stoeger on Beretta tooling. Hers is a Beretta factory manufacture cougar and is excellent shape from what I can tell, prob needs a good cleaning though. Any thoughts or experiences on reliabilty and such?

Well made guns, although heavy and thick. They work off of a rotating barrel lock up, unique setup for a HG.

I have one of each (Beretta and Stoeger) Great guns and I carry mine in a VMII Milt Sparks. They aren't as heavy as they look because of the alloy frame. They feed everything you can throw at them and run like clockwork. I picked up 20 mags when CDNN had a sale on them for cheap.

    I highly recommend them.
