    New Colt Rail Gun

Here's a few pics of my latest acquisition. It's a CRG. It came in all black ceracoat to which I quickly found out I really didn't like. So I contacted Mike at T&Z Armory and arranged to have a color change on just the frame.

I chose a version of there Desert Tan and it turned out super nice, they did a really nice job.

    Sorry for the poor pics.

I like that Rob. Always happy to see someone get something new, and a Colt 1911 at that!

General question, how is cerakote for cleaning? Powder residue on the muzzle area etc.

I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. My homemade range is currently the icky swamp.

Cerakote is fantastic as far as cleaning is concerned. Quick wipe downs are an understatement.

    Beautiful new pistol, OP.
