    Compact Comparisons?

I currently carry a G26 and have been pondering a step up to a midsize gun like the G19. So far I see three main possibilities...... keep in mind this is just me I know the possibities could be way more than this. So does anyone know of a review that compares the G19 to the Sig 250 to maybe the S&W SD9VE? I have seen separate reviews of all three just never a side by side. I'm trying to stay in that 4" to 3.8" barrel length and still get maximum capacity.

Can't help you on comparisons, but if you like your G26 why not get the G19 and call it a day? Might as well stick with one platform if it works for you. Plus you can use G19 mags as reloads for your 26 and buy some G17 mags to use in both for range/reload/home defense. I have both the G26 and the G19 and like them both very much.

Here are a couple of Glock pics (26, 19, 17) to help you with your decision

This makes a lot of sense, and I don't even own a Glock

Given your choices, I would select an HK P30 or the CZ.

My 26 conceals as well as anything at 1 o'clock iwb Old Faithful kydex...even when I tuck my shirt in....the 19 prints a bit due to longer handle. Don't know the sizes of the items you mentioned...I find it a little difficult not to print a bit with anything bigger than the 26..

Take a look at the Springfield XD sub compact.

im not a glock guy but what sparkykb said makes a lot of sense.

the sig 250 is DAO and the trigger is nowhere near as nice as the other sigs.

also i recommend the HK p2000, 3.66 barrel, more accurate then i am. 12+1 in 40 cal and 13+1 in 9mm. less bulk and protrusions when compared to the very popular USP compact

Another Glock that carries very well is the 36 which is for me easier to carry than any other Glock.

6+1 45acp may seem lower a power option, but ease of carry and power of 45acp make up the difference for me.

If I were limited to just two guns......Glock 19 and Glock 26.

Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.

I am not a fan of Glock ergonomics at all, but I agree with some above recommendations. If you are happy with your 26, stick with the platform and add a 19. You'll become exceptionally proficient with the pistols, gaining muscle memory through the familiar feel and handling. The interchangeable mags (and other equipment like holsters) are an added benefit.

If you insisted on veering off the above path, you should look into H&K. The P30 is incredible. You'd not be disappointed. Satisfaction guaranteed.

I'm going to and my recommendation for the CZ 75 P-01. In my opinion (yours may vary) the fit and feel is far better than the Glock, it is more accurate than me and is small enough to easily conceal with an IWB holster. The biggest problem with CZ is finding them, which should be a clue.
