This is a discussion on VZ Grips on the Dan Wesson CCO within the Defensive Carry Guns forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; Just put on some new VZ "Black Cherry" 320's and got some new Wilson Combat magazines......
I think VZ does 1911 grips quite well. I have a set of thin Operator II's in Zebra on my Colt Combat Elite.
So funny you mention Wilson and VZ Grips in the same sentence. I decided after I get some WC 47D Mags for my Colt Gov't Series 70 I'll be putting some VZ Grips on. The problem is ...which grip? The choice is huge !!

I love the VZ Operators II grips that I put on my new Kimber Warrior! I also got the universal bushings and turbo screws with O rings from VZ.
That is one fine looking pistol!
As Benjamin Franklin left the hall in Philadelphia, he was asked, “What kind of government have you given us, Dr. Franklin?” He replied: “A republic, if you can keep it.”
I have the same grips on my 75B
VZ imo makes the best grips period for any gun
Fired over 250 rounds this morning with the VZ grips installed.
they felt great in the hand!
I never ordered the O-rings from VZ....mistake!
the screws were backing out every 50 rounds or so.....I kept re-tightening and driving on, but I will be visiting my hardware store for some O-rings!
A dab of honey on the threads will work as well.
Matthew I like those grips on a stainless or silver alloy frame. Have them on my Defender. Those Black Cherry are sharp also. I like VZ grips and a lot of other people like them I think.
