    My friend's Smith Bodyguard

going to give my friend's Airweight Bodyguard a cleaning tomorrow. I noticed it had a pinned barrel and was marked 38Spl on the barrel. I guess it's from the mid to late 80's as it's NOT marked for +P rounds. Very low mileage. Serial number begins with 424. Any recommendations on a good self-defense round? Oh it's a Model 38. Classy snub

As always , you will get 101 opinions. I carry Hornady XTP JHP 125gr in my .38 LCR... I did a good deal of homework, and in the .38 any quality manufacture ammo should be reliable for SD purposes... in the end, shot placement is more important than the bullet, so shoot straight, shoot often.
