    My Ruger revolver brothers

My LCR .38 and .357 magnum GP100 (4 inch barrel). It's a combo I only occasionally carry just for the heck of it. My GP100 is one of my favorite range guns and my LCR is a daily BUG staple. But together and a speed strip of .38 special between them I have a total of 16 rounds at ready.

And yes the GP100 does conceal under a nice short sleeved dress shirt. I carry it OWB in a Safariland pancake holster. My LCR just drops in my pocket.

    Really enjoy our LCR 38sp.

My LCR has become my favorite carry piece. I've also got a 4" Police Service Six but haven't even tried to carry it yet and probably won't.

    Nice combo

It's actually really comfortable. The Safariland rides high so the barrel clears easily. But it's not a gun I'd bend over with. I'd print more than USA Today. Bending at the knees is the trick.

    Thumbs up

Nice pair of Rugers you got there DetChris.

Yes you do need an SP-101

    I only have one Ruger revolver and it's a SP-101 in .357.

It's built like a tank and eats anything I put into it.

It carries a Big Dot trijicon front sight, Wolff springs and a Pachmayr Compac grip.

SD load of choice is .357 Gold Dots.

When it's carried it rides in a Side Guard Quick Clip holster.

    I like it mucho !

I have strong hands, but shooting the .357 LCR is like a jackhammer. Have to put my mind in a state and flow from the ground to keep from hurting my palm. I think about how it might hurt a charging giant Zombie and I get through it. :)

Excellent. I've been thinking of an SP101 with a 4.2" barrel for something similar, but a bit easier to carry. The .357 cartridge really deserves a 3"-4" barrel, I feel like I'm wasting it when I shoot the LCR.

I'd consider a sixth round in the speed strip, myself. It is slightly harder to handle, but better than an empty chamber somewhere in the gp100, if you're loading that instead of the lcr.
