Smith and Wesson Revolvers (Post Them All)

My S&W revolver fans lets see some cool photo's and share experiences with your wheelguns....

I am doing this for a couple reasons and figured I would list them for you.

    1. Just picked up a new 4 inch Model 686-3 (pristine!)
    2. Saw a Ruger Revolver thread and figure I would start a S&W thread that would go on top of the Ruger thread (This is where S&W typically are anyways) just kidding DC Ruger Mafia
    3. Having my Nephew come to visit me from CA and I plan to make some new memories with him just as my uncle did. I will always have fond memories of his Model 29 and Colt Python and knocking the crap out of coffee cans at 75 yards shooting them.

    Ccccccc what? Ccccccccccc Hawks!

Went on a nice short hike this past weekend with my wife and three dogs so before we left I slipped my .357 mag S&W 686 with 2.5" barrel into a holster and put it in the right front pocket of my cargo shorts and put three speed loaders in my other pockets.

This one is almost always with me.

I was looking at a nickel Model 29 again yesterday, but the price is still inflated. Hasn't moved in a month. If I could find a 686 I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat right now. One pawn shop has a model 10 for $599....

This one ain't gonna win your beauty prizes but it's the workhorse frequently found on my belt. I like a 3" revolver for carry and this old Model 10 gets the duty.

Man how sweet are these Smiths? So many options and models! I have to admit I am a sucker for the old school Smith and Colt grips. I also love the nice custom ones as they just make these guns look even better.

    S/W Reveolvers

I had to trade my wife a 3 inch GP100 for her Model 12-3 K frame. I have since bought another 3 inch GP. But I sure like this K frame.

Yes, it has the Hillary-hole, but I don't lose sleep over it.

Aluminum frame and G10 boot grips, it makes for a great hot summer carry.
