Should I trade my Glock 23 for this Glock 35?

I carry a Glock 26 and 19 mainly. I already have a Para Ordnance P16-40 for competition, but I'm open to trying a Glock 34/35 for fun. Not desperate to try it though.

I can trade my brand new Glock 23 for a used Glock 35, two 15 round mags, 50 rounds of factory ammo, and $150 cash. It seems to have had a few owners and the current owner has no idea of the roundcount. There are a couple deep gashes and gouges on the frame. I've been looking to get rid of my G23 for awhile but I don't want to inherit someone else's problems either.

I couldn't get the attachments to work, so I uploaded a few pictures here:

    Nah.

    I'd stick with the G 23. It's a good partner to your G 19. Same holsters, too.

    +1.

If you are feeling froggy, you could always try to find a new 35 frame? There is satisfaction in "building" your 35...

I wouldn't get rid of the 23 for that particular gun based on the description you gave. I'd just save up in the meantime for 34/35.

The damage to the frame tells me this pistol wasn't always treated well. I'd pass on it and sell your G23 on Gunbroker.com and here then find a more gently used G35 or a new one by adding a bit more cash. JMHO.

If you really want a G35, consider buying a new one, or keep an eye out for a used one in better shape. You can always sell the G23 whenever you like.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I decided to hang onto my 23 for now. I do like that I can use the same holsters/accessories as my 19.
