Walther PPQ Navy Tourture test Hellenic Special Forces (Greece)

    Hi DC'ers,

I figured a few of you guys may enjoy this video of the Greece Special Forces. I think it may be the first torture test I have seen for the PPQ which is a pistol I have really grown to love. Check out the triple taps at 4:50; the guy has great muzzle control. I was also impressed how well it shot under water as I have seen many firearms shoot the first round and fail to cycle.

    Awesome video.
I have always liked Walther. Looks like a great weapon.

Kinds reminds me of my Colt, or what Glock did 20 years ago:)

Very neat! These guns have interested me for a while. Need to get my hands on one to feel it.

    Thanks for posting!

Very much so as both of those legends built their reputation from the ground up by having the pro's test and use their gear. Those standards set the benchmark for everyone after.

I could see myself carrying a Walther. I have always been a big fan of the companies products.
Between a Colt 1911, a Glock 19, a CZ and Walther, I believe they represent the best of the SD or combat arms to be had.

Every single person I have handed the PPQ to has said the exact same thing. Man that gun feels great in hand and wow the trigger is superb. The only real issue I currently have with Walther is that they have split up with S&W (smart move) and created Walther Arms in America to handle the distribution. Currently they can't seem to make PPQ guns and magazines fast enough. The sad part is that they could really be making a killing because people really want these firearms. I would have to say that these are the most underrated pistols I have seen in quite some time.

I have the PPQ M2 .40. It is just a spectacular firearm imo. I recommend anyone who gets the chance and sees one at their lgs to handle it and see how it feels to you. It shoots very smooth, not really any recoil and is very accurate with great fit and finish, and the trigger pull has to be felt to be believed. I carry a Glock19 as my edc but have been considering switching to that PPQ since I have put a few hundred rounds through it. But I love my Glock19 so much though :( Decisions, decisions...

I'm surprised the Greeks can afford to run any sort of torture test, given that the country is over its head in debt. As for shooting underwater, that will come in handy when I robbed at the local Stop& Rob while SCBA diving. And the guy shooting the frozen guy, did he use the slide release after reloading? OMG! Back to tactical school for him!

Yeah, I'm filling particularly sarcastic today.

Just the other day I decided to switch back to carrying my PPQ. With the 4th of July coming up I think I made the right decision after seeing that scene with the cooler of ice...you never know when you might accidentally leave your gun in the bottom of the drink cooler for several hours.

Best purchase and best deal I've ever made. The PPQ eliminated any need I thought I had for a G19.
