    Forgive Me Father Gaston

    Went off the reservation .....

Picked up an XDs 45 after work today.

    And the extended mag...

Fairly close in size to the Glock 30

    Obviously thinner single stack

Against the Glock 26 - about 1/4" shorter in the slide, a touch longer in the grip with the standard mag

Fit and finish are good. The mag release button is stiff.

Pretty good grip with my big paws. Don't have to tuck the pinky like the 26.

The extended mag provides an excellent grip.

    And in a DeSanti's IWB.

Can't wait to get to the range.

I'll be going to confession now....

You will love how it shoots. Very 1911ish trigger for a striker gun. Assuming yours doesn't have the issue with light strikes and ejection (mine was flawless) you will love it, just hang on tight!

How do you get over the "made in Croatia" thing though, it is on every flat on the gun. If I was Springer I'd keep that on the down low.

Bothered me enough to sell mine.
As Benjamin Franklin left the hall in Philadelphia, he was asked, “What kind of government have you given us, Dr. Franklin?” He replied: “A republic, if you can keep it.”

I can't judge you, I purchased a Walther PPQ M2 on Monday. Fortunately, Glocks aren't judgmental.
