    New Gun (Not a Glock)!

I stopped by the LGS on Friday to just look around really, maybe buy some ammo. On a whim I asked the guy behind the counter to let me see a Ruger SP 101 in .357. It felt really good in my hand, but I really wasn't looking to buy. I also looked at a Glock 26, but was a little disappointed in the way it felt. I couldn't really see that it would have an advantage over the G19 I was carrying. Looked around some more, but just couldn't stop thinking about that Ruger. So guess what?

I brought that bad boy home. It's SS with the 2.25 inch barrel. Turns out they have a interest-free payment plan which I jumped at. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I like the fact that you can practice with .38 Special. Now I need a holster!

You can't go wrong with an SP101.

    You did good.

The SP-101 will handle most any 38/357 load you can stuff into it.

I quit carry mine ( 2 inch DAO) due to my bad back and weight issues, so I favor the LCR these
days but plan on buying a 3 inch SP-101 this year for the Jeep.

High Noon makes excellent gear for most any Ruger revolver, including the SP-101
    and LCR:

Do mention me to Michael if you order or have questions.

    Enjoy that Ruger!

Ruger builds one of the strongest wheel guns on the market. Great choice.

Thanks to you all! Y'all have set me on the path for some holster choices. I am diggin' that Hogue grip too. But not the pink one!
