New Glock 26 on the way

Won an auction for a brand new, in the box Glock 26 for a total of $430 yesterday. Sent the money and it is on the way to my LGS right now. Should have it early next week.

The search for the single stack 9mm continues with the filed being narrowed to the Bersa BP9cc, Beretta Nano and the S&W Shield with me honestly leaning towards the Bersa. Problem is, the only one of the three I have seen in any LGS is the Nano. The only draw back it has as far as I can see is it holds on;y 6 in the mag. But I could live with that.

Congrats Gen 3 or 4? Either way you should love it. Great shooters for such a small gun.

Congrats on the G26. Great guns.
I carry a Nano daily. Also a fine weapon.

It is a Gen 3. I'm not a big fan of the feel of the Gen 4 Glocks. Don't really like the texture.

There is a famous saying here about soon Austrian polymer will be flowing through your veins and you will be seduced to the force...Resistance is Few-Tile...I did not believe it either but after I got my 26 I cut myself and bled dark grey......

I really like mine. With some experimentation, the right clothes and holsters, I've been able to carry it pretty much year around. Winter is no problem, summer required a little more creativity, but I've only pocket carried once this summer, and only had to replace it with the XDS twice. The rest of the time it's been no problem. The thing is as reliable as gravity. If it says 9mm on the box, it shoots it. Period. And best of all, it is wonderful to shoot. I have the Pearce +0 mag extension. Don't believe the people who say ya might as well carry a 19 if you have the mag extension. I have them both and that just plain isn't true.

You just bought yourself a really good EDC.

I've got a Gen 3 26, and think its probably the best all round carry gun to be had. You got a good deal.

Glock 26 is one of the world's finest carry guns....

Mine was boring.....just worked and worked and worked.
Have owned both gen3 and gen4, and prefer Gen4 for the adjustable backstrap and texture.
Here's some pics of my Gen3 and Gen4, to hold you over!
