    Lubrication

I use a grease to lube the areas of my EDC weapon, aBeretta Nano, where there is friction. Should I be lightly oiling the entire slide to prevent rust? It normally sits in a pocket holster in my pocket.

I use a light gun oil on the outside of the slide becasue I IWB carry and the slide comes in contact with my skin and sweat. So I keep the lightly oil the slide to keep it from getting rusty.

Mobil 1, ATF, 3-in1 oil, sewing machine oil, gun lubes, etc.; oh, or Froglube--or Gunzilla--or... Anything except WD-40.

$16 for 4oz. of amphibian grease with no chemical description, or $8 for a quart ($1 per 4 fl.oz.) of Mobil 1 with mounds of data.

Be sure to wipe off all excess oil before carrying. A regular surface wipe to clean dust and prevent rust never hurt.

I started with Valvoline 10W30, then Breakfree CLP & now FrogLube. They all work with FrogLube my favorite.

Well the same oil I use on my tractor Gear Lube | Mobil 1ô Synthetic Gear Lube LS 75W-90

So not really motor oil, but I've never heard of tiller or bush hog oil so I said motor oil. I guess I should have been more specific.
