Glock 36 range report
Ok took the G36 to the range and shoot about 100 rounds. I shot it better than
I did the G 26 or 23. Very smooth I like the slim grip. My
sons also shot it and loved it. Overall very pleased. The one thing
I have been working on trigger pull dry fire. Also on shooting

You should have asked me, I could have told you that you would like it.

G36s are great in many ways.
Conceals well, dehorned for reholstering, 45acp, dead on accurate, stands up to abuse well, and on and on it goes.

I love only that which they defend.

I was darn tempted to buy a used one once, but it had a cheap set of aftermarket sights, the front sight was loose, and it had an (admittedly decent) application of grip tape. Probably paranoid, but it made me worry that it might have been bubba'ed internally. Not worth the risk for the savings on offer.
Anyway, it seemed like a great size for a carry gun. Limited capacity is the only real problem.

Seems like my Glock 36 is the best compact 45acp I've owned.....really like the way it absorbs the recoil of even +P rounds.....my 36 is my #1 , 45acp carry pistol...

The Glock 36 is a beautiful little .45. It was a tack driver the first time I put my hands on it, and that was a rental range gun.

My G36 has been perfect as well and as the others have said, it is a very accurate gun. It is perfect carry gun that gives big bore performance, ease of use, reliability, and is easy to carry.

I totally agree I really like the recoil. It's dead one on shooting.

I've narrowed my 45 lust down to the 36 and the XDS.
There is a solution but we are not Jedi... not yet.

I'm fortunate enough to own a G36, G30 and Remington R1 (.45 ACP) among other handguns and for carry I much prefer the G36. It is an accurate, reliable and sweet shooter for sure. I've probably fired 1000 or so FMJ and various Hollow point rounds from the G36 with only one FTE using Blazer Aluminum ammo.

You'll do a lot better with the 36
