Sweet! Enjoy your classic... it didn't earn that status by just being another pretty face.

I've got an early-90s vintage 220 which was the most accurate out-of-the-box pistol I've ever owned. It got hard use for a few years but now it's a "desk gun" and doesn't get carried a lot, but I know I can depend on it to hell and back.

BTW SIG is very good about any firearms with regard to any issues discovered after the stated warranty period.

Just don't do THIS! It WILL void your warranty!
Besides beating the gun with a bat, the other thing I noticed that was bad was when the shooter pointed the muzzle right at the commentator after the first round of firing...

I don't plan on beating my new Sig like that!

Thanks! I am super stoked up that I happened to find this deal. Normally, I wouldn't be able to afford a P226, so when I came across this sale at Bud's, the little voice said "JUMP!"...so I did. DEFINITELY not disappointed so far!

Sig is one of the finest firearms in the world, and I would take a P226 in hostile territory (or the range...) ANY day!
    Smart choice with the CPO!!

Just beware, Sigs multiply! I bought my first one and at the time was like, "This is something you only buy once" which is how I justified spending a bit more than I would have on similarly sized pistols from other manufacturers. Alas, I may have been mistaken.

I bought my first because it was a military commemorative, Sig 220 elite, then the second was also a Mil Commemorative Sig 250, and then came the 239, and I also picked up just last month a 226 for a great deal at 359.00 a slightly pre owned. They have a way of sneaking up on you, jumping out and saying buy me. Good luck with yours and Good Shooting.

I did that accidently to my SIG one time. Does that mean that my warranty voided? LOL

I've had a P226-ST for 8 years and you will love your 226. It's my EDC and I never leave home without it.

    1. Whack gun with bat.

    2. Pickup gun and point gun up range.

    3. Point muzzle at the guy standing next to you.

    4. Insert loaded magazine.

    5. Hold loaded gun against head while clumsily putting on bulky ear protection.

    6. Fire weapon.

    7. Put hand in front of muzzle and rub finger on muzzle.

    8. Point muzzle at the guy standing next to you.

    9. Point gun up range.

    10. Point muzzle at the guy standing next to you.

    11. Insert another magazine.

    12. Fire weapon.

Then the guy says, "...why in the heck would you do that..."

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm also wondering if they watched their own video before sharing it with the world. It amazes me how many stupid things you can cram into a one minute and 17 second video.
