Pics of my new Sig P226

Well, it's not new...it's Certified Pre-Owned. Bought it up from Bud's and picked up at my local FFL last night. $569 plus $6 for insurance (free shipping). Overhauled by Sig Armourer...this thing is beautiful. Not a scratch on it! Came with two magazines, lock and 1 year Sig warranty. Can't wait to get it to the range next week.

Great looking SIG-Sauer! Certified pre-owned is just as good as new to me. Have fun with it.

Come Febuary it's either going to be a German made P220 or a new H&K USP45 for me. Can't wait.

Love my P226 with the e grips. The smoothest DA/SA of all I've tried. Looking to buy the 22 conversion kit for longer range time and practice.

    Very nice gun .
I have a question on the warranty of one year . I was under the inpression that most guns have a lifetime warranty . And i would think Sig would be one of them that would be lifetime.

Congrats. The SIG pre-owned firearms are a great deal.

BTW SIG is very good about any firearms with regard to any issues discovered after the stated warranty period.

Just don't do THIS! It WILL void your warranty!

    Congrats!

Just went to my FFL today, had a couple of my fathers pistols transferred to me.

One which is a West German made P228 :) with less than 100 rounds through it.

Can't wait till I can pick it up, hopefully next week if the amendment goes fast

To tell you truth, I'm really not sure what kind of warranty the various manufacturers offer. Looking at this one, if I get through the first few range trips without issues, I really don't think I'd ever need warranty work. I'm the type that if a spring breaks after 20 years, I don't expect the manufacturer to replace it for free. Things DO wear out.
In the mean time, I'm gonna have frickin' fun with this thing!!

Brand-new Sigs carry a lifetime warranty, but CPOs are warrantied for one year. Routine maintenance such as replacement of worn springs is not covered in either case. It is doubtful you will need warranty work though, either within the warranty period or afterwards. Sigs are quality.

CPOs are a great value, and the 226 is legendary among combat pistols. Good score.

Nice one. I do favor SIGs. Just picked up an M11-A1 last weekend.

    Love my P229!
