Kimber 1911's
Ok guys I think I know what you mean when you say they multiply like rabbits. I have an XD.40 4". I said to myself this would be the one gun I would own and I would use it for range, house and carry when I can.
I took the NRA basic pistol safety class, a great refressher being prior military but about 10+ years out of the game. The instructor gave my a discout coupon for NRA membership which I took advantage of.
My first edition of America's 1st freedom came the other day and on the back cover is and add for the Kimber carry 1911's. Everytime I open my desk drawer at work I can't help but stare, oogle, drool over those sidearms. I am loosing the battle and I fear that I may have a 1911 soon.
What do you get when .45acp and .40s&w get together? Please don't tell me .223 AR!
Thanks
Mike

It depends whose genes dominate. If its the .45, you get a .308 or 30/06. If its the .40, the .223.

I'm very happy with how my Kimber carries. If I can get it feeding perfect, then I'm in business.

Love My Two Kimber's
The Pro CDP II was my first 1911...
The Ultra CDP II was my second 1911, and is still my main CCW!

Just giving ya trouble Mr. White, I coundn't resist!
The Eclipse is a nice piece with an interisting finish to them. You should be happy to know I will have a SF Loaded chambered in 9mm by the end of the year, probably my Christmas present to myself.
