So, I was looking for a new handgun...

So, I was looking for a new handgun and I found this at Gander Mountain. New Beretta 92fs Inox Compact L model. It just called out to me! I like the way it fits my hand, like the Inox look, 13 +1, came with two mags. I admit I'm partial to CZ and Beretta products. Gotta get it to the range this week! Let the great holster hunt begin!

Very nice, looks sweet! - I'm jealous. How's the compact fit in the hand?

My better half has decided the beretta 92fs will be her range/fun gun - and of course being a woman, she has insisted on the inox version. I'm totally cool with it, I've always wanted one, seems like a great gun and if your gonna dump the money for one, might as well spend a little extra to get the SS. I've been looking for them, started saving a little - they are hard to come by.

Sure you will enjoy it, post a range report when you get it to the range.

It's a double stack 9mm but with my big hands it feel great. If someone has smaller hands they might find it too big for them. Paid $799.99 + tax.

Looks a lot like the CZ P-01, there.

    Enjoy the new rig.

I have the Taurus clone of the 92 full size, shoots really good, accurate as my G34. I do have trouble reaching the mag release on it tho'.

I wanted the Inox version too, but I got this one for $379 so couldn't pass it up, will eventually trade it on a stainless version no doubt. FYI, Fobus makes a paddle holster for the Taurus, and I believe there are two versions for the Beretta, one works for the Taurus and one doesn't.

Congrats! That is one fine looking pistol. Good luck finding a holster with that rail on there.

They are a little heavy compared to polys, but the action is very smooth.

I like the looks of the Inox Beretta, and have almost bought one on several occasions. They have a excellent reputation for accuracy and reliability.

Congrats on the new gun. Just curious, did you look at the P-07 when you were looking?

Love my CZ PCR but for some reason I find the P-07 butt ugly! Suppose to be a great pistol and I sure wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of one! Just me, I guess!

Sweet looking pistol. I bet it's gonna be a pleasure to shoot.
