Thanks. Uh, XGrip is good info but I was looking for a place to buy it.

Midway sells them for $12.95 for both the 17 and the 19 mags:

I would caution against it. They are not needed, make carrying a spare mag cumbersome in terms of fitting in a mag holster, and if they come loose could prevent proper seating of the mag.

After shooting the extended mag naked for a bit, it will feel natural.

I understand but I have sleeves for my other handguns and do like them. I'm not planning on using them for anything but perforating paper targets.

    A breakdown on costs:
    Two G-19 (15 round mags, plus shipping)..$58
    Two G-19 sleeves, plus shipping..............$31
If it works, fine. It's not a lot of cash to try it out for a range gun. Thanks everyone for the great info! I'll try them with and without the sleeves.

I won't mention the specific dealers I used, but I will say I searched and found some good deals on gunbot.net

Not to start a price war, but 58 bucks plus shipping for two G19 mags sounds a bit high.

I put the sleeve on a 19 mag and put it in the 26. I like it.

I may have misspoke. It's total $58. It's only $22.99 for the magazine. I do not think you can find any Glock mags for under $29 each without a lot of searching.

The shipping was high, IDK why, $12.09. If you have a source for cheaper mags, share or PM me.

    Thanks!

Got the two mags in today. One of them would seat well with 15 rounds loaded so I removed one and it snapped in ok. The other one locked in just fine. Maybe the spring on the first mag is a bit too strong and it's pushing the round higher up in the lips of the magazine. I should be getting the sleeves in the mail today.
Thanks again for the comments and links, guys!

Is this something I'm supposed to have? I've only had the G26 to the range twice, but both times I used 15 rnd magazines with no problems, but I didn't have anything like this on them.

I received the sleeves today, A&G Grip extenders, item T0364-B Glock 19/23 Mag to 26-27 Pistols

Came with a sleeve and a small allen wrench which fits an externally threaded hex screw which acts as a set screw. You fit the mag sleeve where you want it (there is about 1/8" of play, and then screw it down. I had no problem seating the magazine, therefore those posters who worried about it interfering with locking in need not be alarmed.

Just to finish up their thread, put 60 rounds, 30 each through the G-19 magazines, both with A&G sleeve extenders. No problems whatsoever, no pinching, no shifting no difficulty inserting the magazines with the sleeves. I recommend the factory mags and the A&G extenders without reservation except one.

One of the magazines has difficulty (without the sleeve) inserting fully filled with 15 rounds. Fourteen rounds clicks in just fine. I may have a spring that's stiffer, I don't know. But with a slap to click in, it fires all 15 just fine.
