Hey guys, doing a bit of market research for a batch of holsters I am building. Looking to build a batch of demos/testers for the local gun stores to check out, and I'm not sure how many to build of what, ect. Also looking to expand the gun options and I'm wanting to see what is common that I haven't covered yet.
Please post your EDC gun, or the one you carry most frequently. If this changes seasonally, post the guns with the corresponding season. Please include any external modifications or accessories including frame modifications, (trigger guard cuts, stipple, grip reduction, ect,) slide cuts, grip tape, lights/lasers, extended slide/mag releases ect. Please also include your most frequently used holster and carry position. Throw in your favorite carry ammo too if you want.
Be detailed, but keep it simple. No need to explain why you picked your gun and all the accessories, but do list the gun and all the accessories. Feel free to and encouraged to include pictures. I'll start with mine.
Glock 17RTF2. Grip cut to 19 length, trigger guard undercut, stipple in reference points, grip tape on top and side of slide, Meprolight night sights, TLR1S. Generally carried IWB at 2 O'Clock in a Kydex pancake style holster. Loaded with Hornady Critical Duty 135gr+P.

M&P Shield 9mm in a Sticky Holster either IWB or pocket. Super comfortable and super convenient. I have a custom Kydex single clip IWB like Comp Tac's Infidel being made to try also.
Springfield 1911 - Champion Lightweight Operator
Sig Sauer P938 Equinox
Gen. 4 G23, 10-8 Performance Sights, carried AIWB ~ 1:30 in a G-Code INCOG or Dale Fricke Archangel/Zac. Stoked with 180g bonded core PDX1.
Good luck with the holster run, if you need any well written, honest reviews let me know. I would be happy to demo and critique a rig.
Newly changed to Glock 17 IWB at about 3:30 in a minotaur hybrid. Nothing on the gun would change how a holster would work so I don't feel the need to go down the list of what I've done to my Glocks

I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.
My opinion (not trying to discourage you) there are lots of guys who make holsters and it may be very difficult area to get into.
I am LEFT handed (a pain as far as holsters go).
EDC is either an XD subcompact 9mm or Sig P250. Usually a Remora or Blade Tech holster.
If I have to go to Indian county it is a Browning Hi-Power in .40 with the "reliability package" from Cylinder & Slide.
Best of luck!
XD in OWB (my preference) Remora- ink pen for size reference.
Hi-Power in Front Line "Deep Cover" IWB holster
Hi-Power in old Blade Tech:
Bersa BP9CC IWB at 3:00-3:30 in an AlienGear
fullsize springfield xdm 3.8 in .40, in a old faithful iwb holster at 3:00. exceptionally comfortable, holster allows for an easy grip.
